Measuring 21 x 8.25 x 4.75 inches, these bags are larger than most spawn bags, allowing them to hold more material. Widely used by mushroom growers throughout the world.

Plastic lids designed to fit on both wide mouth and regular mouth canning jars. Mushroom growers use plastic canning jar lids for the durability, ease to clean, and mainly becuase they don't rust!

Each box includes eight dishwasher-safe plastic caps.

Flexible, thermoplastic, rolled, waterproof sheet interwound with paper to prevent adhering. Semi-transparent, almost colorless, odorless and tasteless. Supplied in 0.005" thickness.

Adheres quickly and firmly to itself, covering mushroom culture tubes or flask mouths and sealing petri dish edges. Excellent resistance to air, other gases, alcohol, common acids and moderately concentrated alkalies. At 70°F, it stretches 200% and returns partially to its original size. At 180°F to 200°F, it softens enough to make an adhesive bond between papers, cloths, leathers, etc. Supplied in dispenser cartons.

Using an impulse sealer will assure you an airtight seal when using your spawn bags. The better the seal the less chance of contaminates! This sealer is ideal for use with our spawn bags. It provides a sterile seal of up to 12 inches wide in approximately one second.

This impulse sealer has built in electronic timing controls for sealing needed of different materials. All of our sealers come with a manufacturer's spare part kit of seal wires and Teflon strips.
