This two-piece vacuum filter system is designed for vacuum filtration of tissue culture solutions or other aqueous solutions. The system features a stable profile receiver bottle (500ml capacity) which has easy-grip sides and an angled hose adapter to minimize tipping. The Receiver converts to a storage bottle by simply unthreading the filter and inserting the sterile plug seal cap.

Your extracted material may freely drip through the filter, although we recommend using a small vacuum pump in order to draw the material through the filter. The entire system comes with a filter funnel, dust cover, and receiver/storage bottles which are made of polystyrene. Also included is a tubing adapter, filter adapter ring, and plug seal cap which are polyethylene. Adapters are color coded by membrane type. Pore size and membrane type are printed on each unit. Gamma radiation sterilized. Certified nonpyrogenic!
